11th August 2008

Six pieces of work have been accepted for inclusion in the "Green and Organic 08" exhibition at "View from the Top" Gallery in Nottingham. The exhibition runs from 3rd - 13th September.

1st August 2008

Blue Amber jewellery coming soon. The intrepid young globe-trotting collector who supplies me with straight-from-the-mines gemstones has recently acquired a small quantity of the rare and precious blue amber form the Dominican Republic. I have four pieces that I shall soon be incorporating into new bog oak designs (see brooch and pendant on back catalogue page). OR contact me soon if you want to commission a piece with blue amber.

An American magazine "Woodcarving Illustrated" has published an article (written by Kathleen Ryan) profiling Geoff and his work and shows a project detailing how to carve a brooch. They have kindly provided a pdf which is available to view here.

Geoff is interviewed by Fi Martynoga for a forthcoming article in the next issue (autumn 2008) of "Reforesting Scotland" magazine.
